Boys,

The latest mouse was in my house today. Maybe this is #7, I'm not sure. There had been mouse noises a few nights ago. I was too tired to bother.

Since I was going to choir practice this morning at 10:00, I had time to vacuum and sweep the patio and front door. The mouse was in the trough of the patio door. I disturbed it when I opened the door. (It seemed to be in denial). The mouse hid by the tea cart wheel.

I went upstairs to get Lizzie's assistance. I hear noises at the patio window. I encourage Lizzie to wake up and come. The mouse is in full view at the back of the sofa, very still. This does not interest Lizzie at all. I get the broom. I open the sliding glass door and sweep the mouse out to the patio.

Now Lizzie is interested. I close the patio door with Lizzie and the mouse outside. I lose interest when I see the mouse has run under the patio fence to the neighbor's house.

Life goes on.

Love,
Mom

(By the way, a person at work stopped my telling this story. She was eating. Huh?)
