Folks,

It's good to contact family each month. Happy September.

Yesterday morning Lizzie brought a live mouse into my bedroom. Fortunately, she chased it into the bathroom. I gave her an hour with it, going in to put the shower curtain into the tub and pick up what was on the floor. No results. I let Lizzie out and closed the door until the afternoon. Lizzie helped me corner the mouse that I picked up with tongs, put it in a plastic bag and hit it in the head with a hammer.

This morning Lizzie brought another mouse into my bedroom. This time the mouse sat on my open closet door. It got nervous and began to jump into the closet. I slammed the door, taking some paint off and leaving a leg and a tail in the crack of the door. I went about my morning activities. At 7:30 when Lizzie was about to leave, I encouraged her to help me get the mouse.

We got it.
